IMM FKM Holds IMM Tablighi Akbar

 The leadership of the Muhammadiyah Student Association Commissariat, Faculty of Public Health, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta (PK IMM FKM UMJ) held the IMM Bertabligh akbar (IMM Berkabar) event with the theme "Building and Preparing a Resilient Next Generation by Strengthening Faith and Devotion Through the Role of Youth in the Advancement of Islam" in Hall of the UMJ Faculty of Public Health building, 4th floor, Wednesday (606/09/2023). 

Attended by Mr. Usman Alfarisi, S.HI., M.Ag., as speaker and Imam Sarlin Wagola as representative of the IMM Cirendeu branch chairman. In his speech Immawan Sarlin Wagola said "We as young people must prepare and equip ourselves with knowledge, faith and piety because in fact it is the youth who will be the next generation in the future"

Head of the IMM Berkabar activity, Immawati Shivani Aulia Maryono, said that this activity is one of the work programs in the field of Humanitarian and Islamic Action (TKI) which aims to improve knowledge, especially in the field of Islam. "We hope that after this IMM Bertabligh Akbar activity, we can both improve the quality "Our faith is to be the best human beings," he said at the end of his speech.

The general chairman of IMM FKM UMJ Immawan Masfur Muzakki also said in his welcoming speech, "Youth is a very expensive and priceless national asset. The progress or destruction of a nation depends on its young people as agents of change , where in every civilization there are always young people who pioneer it."

In the main event session, there was a presentation of material by Mr. Usman Alfarisi, S.HI., M.Ag. He said "the essence of faith is to believe or acknowledge it with the heart and then express it verbally and then implement it with deeds. Meanwhile, taqwa is the fruit of faith." He also explained that a person who does alms, sacrifice and worship without being based on faith is truly what he doing is in vain. 

At the end of the session he advised "don't leave your children and grandchildren in a weak state, whether it is weak in faith or weak in the world. Educate them so that in the future they can become good future generations. "Children's education begins with choosing a partner. In choosing a partner, it should be based on 3 criteria, namely religion, health and finances."

Apart from providing material about faith and devotion, this event also held an interactive question and answer session between presenters and participants. Participants could not only ask questions about material about faith and devotion, but participants also asked about tips on Islamic living. The IMM Bertabligh Akbar activity ended with the presentation of certificates and a photo session with the presenters and participants.
